Abseil down a 60ft tower will help buy defibrillator

Group hopes to raise funds for equipment.

Mums and teachers from a Bradshaw primary school will tackle a 60ft high tower to purchase life-saving equipment. About 15 mums and teachers from St Maxentius Primary School will join volunteers from Bolton ICD Support Group to attempt the 60ft abseil down the Bell Tower at the Trafford Centre on Sunday September 22.

The group is also hoping to raise enough money to purchase defibrillator for SS Osmund and Andrew RC Primary School and Blackshaw Primary School in Breightmet.

Bolton ICD Support Group was set up in 2006 and have so far p

rovided defibrillators at Bolton Rugby Club, Harper Green School, Markland Hill Racquet Sports Club, Bolton Sixth Form, St Bartholomew’s, Cherry Tree Primary School and Motorcise.
