A heart support charity was given a cash boost from generous Rotarians.
The Bolton Rotary Club donated £510 to the Bolton ICD Support Group to buy life-saving equipment at Markland Hill Racquet Sports and Fitness Club. The majorty of the money has been raised fron the Ironman UK 2012 event. The Bolton ICD provides supporrt for patients with ICD’s and provides defibrillators for community groups.
Correction to the Bolton News article – The money received will go towards a defibrillator in the future however the defibrillator at Markland Hill Racquet Sports and Fitness Club the Bolton ICD Support Group donated at the beginning of 2013.
