Fundraising

The Bolton ICD support group is a charity which is self funded and therefore to enable us to provide the support we have to rely on donations and fundraising.

The committee and members of the group aim to raise funds to buy automated external defibrillators (AED’s) for primarily schools and sports clubs in Bolton to improve survival rates in patients who suffer cardiac arrest in the local community as well as raising awareness of CPR, recognising cardiac arrest and how to help.

Our #defibs4bolton campaign began in December 2012 and we launched our #defibs4bury and #defibs4wigan campaigns in September 2014.
